The Looney Tunes had their own float sponsored by their owners, Warner Bros. In 1989. The same year a balloon based on Bugs Bunny was supposed to debut, but due to being punctured before the parade starting he was left out, and Celebrate Bugs Bunny's 50th Birthday, and Featuring Looney Tunes Characters: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Tweety, Wile E. Coyote, The Road Runner and Yosemite Sam.

In 1990, the float returned, this time just featuring Bugs Bunny, as it was made to promote Tiny Toon Adventures, and so walk around from the show were with bugs. The Bugs Bunny Balloon made its proper debut that year after the Float, and Featuring of The Cast of Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny, Dizzy Devil, and Plucky Duck, with Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes.

In 1991, the float promoted the series Taz-Mania, and once again the Bugs Bunny balloon was after the float and Featuring of The Cast of Taz-Mania: Tazmania Devil, Bull Gator, Axel, and Didgeri Dingo.

in 1992, only the balloon appeared, and was retired shortly afterwards. The float was later reused as many different themes, such as Barney's Great Adventure in 1997, and M&M's Network in 1998-2003.
