Poppin' Fresh, more widely known as the Pillsbury Doughboy, is an advertising icon who served as the mascot of the Pillsbury Company and appeared in many of their commercials. Many commercials from 1965 until 2005, then from 2009 to 2011, concluded with a human finger poking the Doughboy's stomach. The Doughboy responds when his stomach is poked by giggling (Hoo-Hoo!, or earlier on, a slight giggle "tee hee".)
He made his parade flight debut in 2009, along with Spider-Man, Sailor Mickey Mouse and Ice Skating Ronald McDonald. He appeared from 2009 to 2013, where he was retired due to it being out of shape.
However, in 2014, he once again appeared in a new balloon form. This design was the same as the last balloon, only with the colors slightly altered. Due to the similarities, it leads some people to believe that they just used the same balloon from 2009.
In 2017, he kept swaying side to side dangerously and almost hit a tree and a building.
